I want to know whether there is any procedure so that i can send 1ltr or 5ltr of sample to my depot without excise duty and if so what is the procedure.

no such procedure to send duty free goods, you have to clear the goods to depot on duty payment only,
However depending on circumstances, needed for trade, DC may allow you to send duty free goods to depot or any other place, subject to furnishing of General bond (specific) and procedure(specific) to safeguard the revenue,
