23 November 2014 I am selling Bedsheets outside Maharashtra. I have purchased material and got the bedsheets printed on job work basis.

Do I need to charge Sales Tax if the Sales Value is only Rs. 1,00,000? The amount is not big.

23 November 2014 Are you a registered dealer under M VAT?
If you are, then this transaction comes under the ambit of CST. Apply the CST accordingly.

07 December 2014 Not registered under M VAT since we have never sold for 5 lacs or more in a year.

this is the first time we are selling bedsheets outside Maharashtra and the value is small. Should CST be collected and if yes, at what rate.

Is there any limit to register for CST like under M VAT it is 500000?

12 December 2014 If u r unregistered dealer under M Vat, dont charge any tax.
