What is the VAT procedure in respect of sale of Row Houses. What is the VAT rate & shall the company is liable to pay service tax?

Service tax is payable on row houses at 14% on 25%(value less than one crore)/30% value.

If the houses are completed and ready for occupation before sale or receiving any adavances such sale of houses are exempt both VAT and ST.When acontract is made before completion of construction VAT is payable on the material value and @14% on 25% of the entire value as ST....mjk
