Salary not paid from november till march

03 May 2016 Salary not paid from November 2015 to March 2016.Does TDS to be deposited every month . Salary of the employee will be paid in May 2016.

03 May 2016 They have also deposited TDS from Nov 2015 till March 2016 and salary not paid. I believe TDS on salary is on payment basis and not on accrual basis.

03 May 2016 TDS on Accrual basis or Payment basis, which every is earlier. So if TDS is deducting and paid in FY 2015-16 and Payment will be in MAY 2016. In ITR Salary Income will be show in FY 2015-16.

04 May 2016 I think if company has not paid salary from Nov to March 2016 but they have credited salary amount and do tds deduction on credit/accrued value which will be paid on may 2016. So if they booked salary in the year where it was applicable then tds will be the same way and in May they will debited the party rather than book salary expense.
