Salary and stipend & 2 years return ??

Hi sir/madam
My Friend want to file IT return for the FY 2011-12 and 2012-13. In 2011-12 his income from stipend is around 35000 pa and no other income is there.
In 2012-13 his stipend income is around 25000 and income from salary from one MNC as per Form 16 is 201775.Total income after all deductions like PF,conveyance(not considering stipend)come to 183420.No TDS till now. Now how to File the return in this regard(particularly for the FY 2012-13) ?

ITR2 is applicable for you
1)provide income chargeable from salary in sheet PARTB-TI-TI,,in salary schedule
2)provide details of stipend income in sheet "EI" under serial no.5 "others"
Because stipend income is exempt from income tax under section 10(16)

You cannot show stipend income which is exempted income in ITR1
where as ITR2 will helps you to disclose exempt income
however you can file ITR1 with out disclosing stipend income
where as ITR2 will helps you to disclose exempt income
however you can file ITR1 with out disclosing stipend income
