21 September 2015 Whether salary income received by foreign delegates for service rendered in India from foreign employer will be taxable in India?

21 September 2015 01. what is the residential status of foreign delegates?

02. Did these foreign delegates receive the salary in India or outside India?

e.g
Foreign delegates from EY London rendered services to EY India and receiving salary from EY London while stay in india.

23 September 2015 You did NOT answer my second question.

Did these Foreign Delegates receive the salary In India or at London.

See the point is like this. The salary gets credited to their bank account at London and in that case it is NOT taxable although the service is rendered in India because they are NON resident as per Income Tax Act.

23 September 2015 It is credited in their bank account in London i.e in GBP.

It wont be the case of Deemed to be acrued in India?

Why do you think so?

I think probably, you are mixing SERVICE tax with INCOME tax, is it?
