Friend if an assessees income first time goimg above exemption limit n up to last year his father taking benifit of 80d then whether his father is able to do same in this year also??

Deduction u/s 80d is available on payment basis. if payment is made by father then he can calim otherwise deduction will be avabilable to the son only
