26 June 2012 I uploaded form 1A for name approval of a new company-VAAS CONSULTANTS PVT LTD.After few days resubmission was demended by MCA stating that it is similar to existing company-WAS CONSULTANTS PVT LTD. but there are many companies which even possess fisrt two similar characters and still are considered valid.what is the problem in my case?

26 June 2012 As per clause 8(vii) of General Circular 45/2011 dated 8.7.2011, VASS and WAS are phonetically identical names meaning thereby the e-form 1A can be rejected.

26 June 2012 thanks for your information sir.how can we make sure such a problem doesn't occur again?Is there a way to check whether proposed name is phonetically similar to any other company?
