What is the difference between risk advisory and internal auditing?

often they are used as interchangeable terms. However, it is not so. Risk advisory has a much broader scope. Internal auditing is more of procedural in nature whereas risk advisory goes beyond the procedures and address the issues which have as much to with past as with future...as much with internal issues as outside..
