Can any one please tell me, at whih position in a company shall be have the following duties as they are my interests.
1. Finalising A/cs and financial reporting
2. Management accounting and decision making and operations research applications and decision making.
3. capital budgeting and feasibility study.
5. Capital budgeting.
Please tell me so i know what position to apply for when i become a CA?

Dear... Interest tend to change... your interest is bound to be changed in the field in which u persue your articleship... in any of the company you have to join as a fresh chartered...
anyways... ur interests are more towards projecct financing... so u can join CA firms who give u opportunity in project financing or a mutlinational company who gives u profile of project financing....

Dear sir,
I am a final CA student am already doing my articledship and am doing mostly income tax work so dont know much bout oda.
Project finance.... but i also have an interest in financing reporting i.e balance sheet p&L notes to a/cs n all... plus with IFRS coming in I think this field has a lot of scope... whats your take on that??

See... i guess u r not clear with what u want.. so sit down... evaluate.. think whether u wanna pursue ur career in income tax field or project financing... u and only u can decide on ur career... about IFRS... it is said that IFRS will be adopted by the companies... for their financial reporting... there is nothing like scope of IFRS or anything.. everything has its own peculiarity.. so wait till the time it is implemented... but yes... all i can say that its new in India so there will be a lot of scope for learning... cant say abt earning though
