I filed a Refund retrn fr a friend yesterday(22/7/2014) for Assessment year 2014-15.
But, the Bank Account details do not match with her name.
The Bank Account says her title as "Gupta",
But now that she's married, Return has been filed under the title "Agarwal".
So, should I file a Revised Return?
If yes, when can I file it?
Do I need to send the ITR V of the original return first, wait for the intimation of CPC, or I can file Revised Return as and when I want, with a different Bank Account?

better u make changes in bank account as that will be done faster but the pan also needs to be updated.

Dear Rohit,
After marriage if your friend want to change title from gupta to aggarwal she have to first fill change in pan form online availaible at https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/correction.html link.
After that only she can mention her title as agarwal otherwise she should file return in her old title only.
Further for above case you have already file return with title as agarwal that is not matching with bank records.
It will better if you revise your return with title as gupta so that it can match with bank details also for getting refund.
Please send original as well as revise return signed acknoeledge copy to banglore for processing of return.
you can apply for change in title to bank and also to income tax department at above link for filing next year return with title as agarwal.
