10 August 2013 Sir,

we have filed a return of an individuai manually before due date because his net income was below Rs5 lakhs but due to some reasons we have missed an income, so we want to file revised return but now taxable income is above Rs5 lakhs so we have to file online but the manually filed IT acknowledgement no. is not accepting by online ITR so please suggest me regarding this query

10 August 2013 Manual return can not be revised by filling return online.

and income having more than 5.00 lacs is to be filled online

so it is a genuine problem than can be faced by taxpayer.

contact help line as suggested by expert.

10 August 2013 File the revised manual return. Department will accept this. If they do not accept after knwoing the exact problem then contact help desk.
