03 June 2013 How many times can we revise a return???
and within how many days can we revise a return ????

03 June 2013 we can revise return before completion of assessment at any times with in 1 year from the relevant assessment year if you have filed return as per 139(1) i,e, with in due date

03 June 2013 I am revising the return for the 2nd time but when i am uploading it they are showing that you have already filed the return u/s 20(4)(a) so what to do??? and do we get an acknowledgement for the revise return ???

03 June 2013 oh! i didn't seen that it is vat related,

I HAVE REPLIED TO YOU ASSUMING THAT IT WAS REVISED RETURN UNDER INCOMETAX..

03 June 2013 This is based on the State VAT Act. most of the VAT acts allowing one time, more than one time need to take permission from your LVO. some states 1st time revision itself need to give the request with proper reason for revising, incase LVO satisfies your request he can allow to revise. time limits again depends on the VAT act only
