28 March 2010 A company is taking Testing Service from a Hong Kong Company,do service tax attracts , if yes who is liable to deposit service tax ?
they are sending there product to hong kong for testing.....

28 March 2010 If the service receiver is in outside India and the service is also provided outside India then service tax is not applicable.

Only if eithe service receiver or service is provided in India or provided outside India but sitting in India then service tax is applicable.
