Is there any number criteria of Revenue stamps to be affixed?i.e. is the number increases with the amt ?????

REVENUE STAMPS NEEDS TO BE AFFIXED FOR CASH PAYMENTS EXCEEDING 5000/-

Need not increase the number of stamps. Only one stamp of Re.1 is enough ,according to Section 117 ( iii ) of the Finance ( No. 2 ) Act 2004 ( 23 of 2004), Article 53 of Schedule 1 of the Indian Stamp Act 1899 ,on receipts for any money or other property, the amount or value of which exceeds Rs. 5000/-
