10 August 2011 When a student get failed in CA exam, and further he decided to revalue is his/her subject then why our institute do not revalue the answer sheet of the subject in depth by checking & verifying the each & every question.There may be chance that some question remains unchecked or mistakenly marks allotted may some thing different then actually what examiner intended to allot.It can only be clarified by revalue the answer sheet in depth.

10 August 2011 From your question it is very much clear that you are not conversant with the procedure of the revaluation. Let me brief you. The answer sheets cannot be re-examined the only thing is that whether the examiner has examined all the question or not is checked in revaluation. Totaling has correctly been done or not is also checked by the ICAI. Mark for sub divided answer has been allotted or not is also checked. If any difference is noted the examiner is asked to give his comments. What else the ICAI can do.
