11 August 2010 I Filed the return with a bank account which i closed due to poor service by the banker. I received the cheque from Income tax department with the closed bank Account number.
What i want to do?

11 August 2010 Pl prepare an application stating the facts, enclose the refund cheque and file before the assessing officer with a request to pass orders to issue another refund cheque. The letter should also contain the correct account number along with the MICR code of the bank wherein the tax credit is to be effected .
