RETURN FILING AFTER THREEE YEAR

ONE OF MY FRIEND HAS FILED HIS RETURN THREE YEARS BACK. HE HAS NOT FILE HIS RETURN BECUASE HE HAS NOT THE TAXABLE INCOME TO SHOW IF HE WANT TO FILE HIS RETURN FOR THE F.Y 2008-2009 SO NOW CAN HE FILE WITHOUT FILING HIS PREVIOUS YEAR RETURNS.

Yes. he can surely file his return if his income exceeding the minimum exemption limit. Rather its compulsory for him to file the ITR.

He can and he should. No problem if not filed for previous years as income below taxable limit
