25 July 2016 While filling online itr 4s utility for a.y. 2015-16 by mistake filng section have been 139(1) has been selected instead of 139(5) and return submited successfully and everified. I have to take any action for this correction or not please suggest me.

25 July 2016 that can NOT be the case..... it prompts for the ERROR for the returns filed after the due date as given by section 139(1). So please check the same.... and if you are sure that e filing portal has erred in doing so, you can REVISE the same
