XYZ was expired and Return file by his wife (Legal Hier)ABC.
Return filed by representative(legal hier) and sing by legal hier.

I think refund will be send in the name of Expired party. And i think in case you want to refund on the name of legal hier then you have submit a request letter to department. But i am not sure its just my opinion.

The refund will be in the name of the deceased.
If you want the refund in the name of the legal heir the same can only be done AFTER receipt of refund from the department.
You will have to submit an application with the department along with the death certificate of the deceased and proof of legal heir.
