Is salaried class employee required to file return if he has not income other than his employment? ?

If the taxable income is nil then filing return is not mandatory but it is always advisable to file the return regularly...

You can file itr-1, normally salary class tds will be deducted by employer if your salary exceed taxable limit after adjusting savings.
