Dear Sir, Please clarify if the vehicle is hired in Dec'12 and bill submitted by the party party Jan'13 will it attract penalty for late deposition of service tax?

In the above transaction dates are not relevant for seeing the provision for reverse charge., in any case form July 2012., the reverse charge provisions will be applied. and the service receiver shall be liable under reverse charge
