Hi can u pl provide guideline for Medical Reimbursement. like which bills are accepted & which not, dental, eye checkup bills are accepted or not

Medical Reimbursement Guidelines 1. Bills Generally Accepted for Medical Reimbursement Hospitalization Bills: Inpatient treatment bills with discharge summary, doctor’s prescriptions, and investigations related to the illness.
Consultation Fees: Doctor’s consultation fees for treatment of illness or injury.
Medicines & Drugs: Prescribed medicines bought from pharmacy with proper bills and prescription.
Diagnostic Tests: Bills for tests like blood tests, X-rays, MRI, CT scan, etc., prescribed by the doctor.
Surgical Expenses: Operation theatre charges, surgeon’s fees, anesthesia, etc.
Ambulance Charges: If related to hospitalization.
2. Bills Often Not Accepted or Conditional Dental Treatments: Usually not reimbursed unless related to accidental injury or medically necessary surgical treatment.
Eye Checkup: Routine eye checkups, prescription of spectacles or contact lenses are generally not reimbursed unless related to disease treatment or surgery (like cataract operation).
Cosmetic Treatments: Plastic surgery or cosmetic procedures not related to accidents or medical necessity are typically excluded.
Health Supplements / Vitamins: Not reimbursed unless prescribed for specific medical conditions.
Preventive Health Checkups: Often excluded unless your organization’s policy specifically covers it.
3. General Tips Always submit original bills, prescriptions, and doctor’s certificates.
Bills should clearly mention the patient’s name.
