I have received a Notice from VAT authorities that I have not filed the returns for the year 2010-11 and have proposed a huge amount of Tax. They have given me 15 days to give any objections in this regard. But I have filed the returns properly in time. Can any one give me a specimen copy of the objection or reply to be given to the authorities.

Mr. Cn,
You have to produce the acknowledged copies of your return,if done manually,or if submitted on line,a copy of the print taken along with the special number shown in it. Forward,all these copies along with a letter asking them to withdraw their notice and drop their proposals.That should setttle the matter.
