One of our clients renting commercial property on rent @ Rs.140000 per month.My question is, 1)whether service tax attract and 2) what rate of TDS may be deduct by lessee.

Service Tax is applicable at 10.3%.
Lessee will deduct TDS at 10% on the rental amount excluding service tax.
Lessee will deduct TDS at 10% on the rental amount excluding service tax.
