09 June 2011 can a person can give rent to his HUF for his shop.

Shop is received by him from his parents in will.

09 June 2011 When a person join to HUF personal property of person becomes property of HUF...so it can give property on rent whether to outsider's or person..

Shop is received by the individual or by the HUF of which the Individual is karta.

In the will if, shop has been given to the Individual only , then he should not show rent given to the HUF as the same will be added back in his income.

However , if shop is shown in the balance sheet of the HUF rent may be given to HUF.
