04 March 2010 The Delhi High Court's judgement has been rendered in effictive by the Finance Minister.

Retrospective amendment is often resorted to by the legislature to puncture the judicial system.

There will be another round of litigation. How ever, given the mood of the government, ultimately, tax needs to be paid.

To be on safe side, it is advisable to deposit tax under protest.
