04 July 2013 SERVICE PROVIDER RISED THE BILL AS FOLLOWS
RENT ON CAB =20000
AND PARKING CHARGES=150
ON WHICH AMOUNT I HAVE TO PAY SERVICE TAX..... IMAEN ONLY ON RENT FOR CAB OR INCLUDING PARKING CHARGES PLS CLARIFY MY DOUBT.............

05 July 2013 Assuming reverse charge is applicable to you

Please not as below in my opinion

1)if bill is in the name of company then only reverse charge applicable

2)parking is a taxable service so service tax is made applicable on parking also

3)vide notification No.3 /2013 - Service Tax, dt. 1st March, 2013, the entry no. 24 in mega exeption notification no. 25/2012-ST dated 20.6.2012 has been deleted.

4)The deletion of this entry has brought all types of paid-parkings into the service tax net.

5)Thus, whether the parking space is leased or not, whether it’s a public utility area or commercial area service tax has to be paid.

06 July 2013 it is not reimbursement bill......... the same parking charges added to cab charges in the same bill@ vinitha guptha.....

06 July 2013 Yes..service tax will be applicable on parking charges also as given above
