02 February 2011 Approval u/s 80G in respect of a charitable trust was initially granted in july-2008 for a period of two years.
This approval under section 80G has expired in july-2010.
I have taken reference of Finance (2)Act 2009, Explanatory Circular for Finance Act(2) 2009 as well as
Circular No. 7/2010[F.No.197/21/2010-ITA-I] Dated 27-10-2010 but its interpretation is not clear to me.
So I need clarification on following queries.
1. Whether a fresh application for renewal of Approval u/s 80G is required?
2. If yes, then in which form, to which authority and in what time limit?
3. If No, then how can I get a new certificate of approval as the validity of existing certificate has expired in July -2010
