If you are asking from the point of view of Accounting entries they fall under the same category. But if it is compliance of Company Law,You will have sections 269 and 309 dealing with them apart from section 198 which is over all.

theese two you can shows as director's remunearation and if you want to know about the amount of remuneration you have to go through the section 309 of the companies act 1956.
