29 November 2009 I hold some shares of a company in dematerialized form. I want to gift the shares to one of my relatives for which I want to convert my electronic holdings back into certificates. Shall I have to request my DP for rematerialization of the same or should I approach the concerned company?

30 November 2009 You have to request the RTA of concerned company.

You may also take help of your DP or company to know the process of rematerialization.
