Relocation expenses to employee

19 July 2012 Our company has paid Relocation expenes to our employee who moved from Pune to Noida at the time of joining.

Please confirm whether this should be consider as part of salary and deduct TDS on this.

19 July 2012 It is a part of Salary and therefore TDS has to be deducted assuming that employer mentioned about such allowance in appointment order.
