14 September 2013 I filed st-3 for the FY 2012-13 (oct to mar) on 2.09.2013. but it has been rejected with the following :
" ADVLOREM TAX RATE 4.8 ENTERED IN PROVIDER SECTION IN PAYABLE SHEET FOR THE SERVICE 'WORKS CONTRACT SERVICE, IS NOT VALID"
now we made correction.
pls update that :
1. is this return fill be treated as original or revised return?
2. last date for filing was 10.09.2013 & its 14.09.2013 today, so is there any requirement to pay penalty for late filing?

14 September 2013 Please fill up ST-3 as follows:-
select 'yes' in A12.1
select 024/2012 ST in A12.2
fill gross amount in B1.1
fill 60% of gross amount in B1.11
check 40% of gross amount has come in B1.14
fill 12%, 2% and 1% respectively in B1.15
then proceed as usual.

1. The return to be filled as above is 'ORIGINAL'.

2. Late filing fee has to be paid.
