We are the PR Agency hiring cab for our client & same is recovering from client.

should we pay the service tax on cab hire charges ?

28 August 2013 We are body corporate providing public realtion services our client's are (Hitachi etc.)We hire cab on behalf of client & bill is on Name of our co.

In my opinion Reversecharge applicable to you if service provider is individual,HUF Etc,

Though you getting reimbursement of the Bill, the service receiver is you, if the Bill of the service provider is in name of your's

[In fact, the motor vehicle operator is not likely to know that the service receiver is your client and will have to charge service tax in normal course, if he is otherwise liable].
