Does Company engaged in Trading of Share, Securities, Commodity and Derivative product needs to be register with the RBI ?

for a normal operating company which is not a financial institution, if the financial assets exceeds 50% of the total assets and income from such assets exceeds 50% of the total income then it is necessary to go for RBI registration. and thereupon all the formalities applicable to NBFC needs to be followed.
