If a person is operating as an individual proprietor and involved in manufacturing and selling handbags through online portal, does he needs to register himself under shop and establishment act?

Kindly advise?

📝 Who Needs to Register?
All commercial establishments, including shops, offices, and service providers.
Freelancers and professionals running businesses.
Businesses operating in physical premises in Mumbai.
Businesses with employees (even if only 1).
🏢 Do Private Limited Companies Need to Register?
Yes, private limited companies operating in Mumbai are also required to register under the Shops and Establishments Act.

📄 Documents Required for Registration
PAN Card of the proprietor/entity.
Aadhaar Card of the proprietor.
Electricity Bill or Rent Agreement of the business premises.
Passport-sized photograph.
