Is it compulsory for AOP to get registered ??

If yes, what is the procedure, where to apply for the registration, what documents required for the same ?

11 November 2014 No need to get registered. There can be unregistered AOPs.

But on applying for PAN of AOP there comes discrepancy of 'Registration number not provided', NSDL is saying it is invalid AOP it has to be registered and asking registration no.

Pls revert.

11 November 2014 No wisdom prevails before POWER. Register it with some NOTARY....what else we can do....
