DOES SUB CONTRACTOR ALSO HAS TO TAKE REGISTRATION OF PLACE OF SUPPLY OF SERVICE , IF MAIN CONTRACTOR HAS ALREADY TAKEN A REGISTRATION FOR THAT PLACE OF SUPPLY OF SERVICE.

Registration of sub contractor and that of contractor are independent under GST Act 2017 .
In case taxable supply of sub contractor is more than 20 L , he need to take registration in spite of the fact that place of supply is same where main contractor is supplying
