My final attempt is in May 2017. If I want to register in old sllyabus of CA final. Can I register for finals before 9 months of my attempt? If I want to enter in old sllyabus then when I should register for finals.
Please advice me whether I should choose old syllabus or new sllyabus

📌 CA Final Registration Rules (as per old scheme — relevant to 2015–17 period):
Eligibility to Register for CA Final:
After passing both groups of IPCC or PCC.
After completing ITT & Orientation Course.
After registering for articleship.
Cut-off Time for Registration:
You must be registered for CA Final at least 6 months prior to the month of the exam.
So for May 2017 attempt, last date to register would be October 31, 2016.
Old Syllabus Validity:
Back then, ICAI was in the process of transitioning to the revised syllabus (launched in 2017).
Students registered before a cut-off date (e.g., June 30, 2017) could continue under the old syllabus for a certain number of attempts.
