Registration for Code obtained from departm for new services

24 May 2011 I fill registration form on aces.gov.in & recd.password thru email.You are requested to advise me next what procedure I can adopt to obtain new service code for billing for our organisation.

After logging in aces.gov.in ST-1 form displayed Is it compulsory to fill the form while I have already registered manual & I have assesse code

24 May 2011 ST-1 is the form of registration as a service provider

If you already have the registration check the status in the system and update the same.

Select the category you are registered for

Fill up all the details including PAN details of Directors/ Company if incomplete

Take a print out

Attach all the documents listed below

A requisition letter for allotment of PAN based Service Tax Payer’s Code No. (in duplicate)
2. Attested photocopy of PAN card or PAN Allotment letter. If PAN not available, attested photocopy of Form 49 – A., duly acknowledged by the IT Dept.
3. Proof of Address (Telephone Bill, Electricity bill etc. )
4. Memorandum and Articles of Association
5. List of Directors with contact address along with telephone / telex / fax / email.
6. Extracts of the Board’s Resolution authorizing any of the directors / employees of the company to sign, deal and comply with the provisions of the Service Tax Rules. [for the name mentioned in ST-1]
7. Photograph and proof of address of the authorized signatory.
