03 September 2010 Dear Sir,

I have completed the registration process on ACES site and excise site. My registration was successful and i got the file number also on 23-8-2010. But till date, there is no communication either thru mail or tel.

What should i do for getting registration certificate?

03 September 2010 After registration, you need to submit the registration form with the department along with all the documents from that date one week will take for getting certificate. any clarifcation you meet the local excise office directly without delay

04 September 2010 As per the latest trade notice issued post online registration you need to submit all the documents to the department

They will cross verify and issue ST-2 online

05 September 2010 As per the ACES helpline, the documents are to be submitted only in case of service tax regn but not in case of excise regn. ITs mentioned that the excise officer will visit the factory for verification and will then issue excise RC.
