Please let me know that can i transfer my shares held in physical form to Demat account of other without opening demat account in my name.

If no then what can be the process of transferring the same.

05 July 2010 better to get it dematerialised. ask your any broker they will guide you on process for dematerialisation of shares.

You have to convert them into demat...before transfer.

05 July 2010 Agree. There is no way to transfer shares from physical form to demat account of another person. Either demat your shares in your demat account before transferring or transfer them in physical form to the person in whose account you wanted the shares to be transferred.
