28 May 2010 VERY URGENT.......
can any one hepl me for following,
If my monthly salary is 100000/- p.m. in FY 2009-10 so my whole year salary is 13,00,000/- which include one salary bonus but the limit is 160,000/- p.a. for tax examption now my query is that can any one suggest me how can i bifurcate my salary in different heads so i save my tax. also my company not gives me salary bifurcation at the end of the every month I get Cheque of Rs 100,000/-

28 May 2010 You cannot bifurcate the salary as per your convenience. The employer has to concur with the salary structure. If the employer pays a consolidated amount, then you will lose the advantages of HRA, Conveyance Allowance, etc., Therefore, check your employer and take appointment with a detailed salary structure.
