Regarding orientaion prog. for direct entry not. dt 29.07.13

I am a direct entry student. I have completed my ITT in April 2013. As per notification dt 29.07.2013 the date of completion of op has been extended till december 2013. My question is that can i join articleship without op and complete it during articleship.

This notification is talking about GMCS extention and not taling about OP or ITT.

As per Direct Entry Scheme Graduates or Post Graduates from Commerce or other streams, with specified percentage of marks shall be eligible for admission to three years articled training, on completion of -
(a) Information Technology Training;
and
(b) Orientation Course

WHEN I VISITED ICAI TODAY THE COUNSELLOR SAID THAT THIS NOTIFICATION IS FOR THE STUDENTS WHO HAVE REGISTERED FOR ARTICLESHIP AND NOT INTERMEDIATE COURSE AS IS BEING INDICATED IN THE NOTICE . . . . CAN YOU CONFIRM IT & TELL ME WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT????
