22 March 2012 If a person want to file his return on presumptive income basis i.e. under section 44AD then is it Mandatory for him to use ITR-4(sugam) or ITR-4 Can be Used under online filling system ?

23 March 2012 sir i filed one online return u/s 44AD by using form ITR-4 for A/y 2010-11.
Now what i have to do to correct this mistake as i know that this return cannot be revised because it's a belated return.?

24 March 2012 Sir i know that belated return cannot be revised but i want to know what i have to do to correct this mistake OR
ITR-4 can also be filled in place of ITR-4S for return u/s 44AD?

20 July 2025 You're absolutely right that belated returns filed under Section 139(4) (i.e., after the due date) cannot be revised for Assessment Year 2010-11, since that was before the amendment allowing revisions of belated returns (which came into effect from A.Y. 2017-18).
