Regarding filing ITR for FY 2021-22

This query is : Resolved

Quick Summary
If you're trying to file your Income Tax Return (ITR) for FY 2021-22 and encountering an error stating 'net payable is nil you can't file return', even though your income is below ₹5 lakh, it's likely due to how the system interprets late filing fees. The ITR-U form is intended for cases where there's taxable income and some tax due. You cannot file solely with a late filing fee of ₹1000.
