We are manufacturing some products at SSI unit at Gujarat. They are charging Excise Duty. My question is SSI units will get benefit regarding Excise Duty. What they are telling is manufactured by them and put marketed by our logo and address then there is no exemption of ED. Kindly inform us.

04 June 2014 If you are manufacturing the goods in our brand name goods then SSI exemption will be available upto 1.5cr if you are manufacturing other brand name then SSI exemption will not be available.
