I have issued a proforma invoice to my customer. But the contract did not materialise & contract was cancelled before providing any service. Neither service was provided nor any advance was received. Now do I have to pay service tax because I have issued proforma invoice? (because under point of taxation rules, invoice includes any bill or challan) Please reply as it is very urgent
