In holding CO. what is the concept for divends & Bonus shares when it is recorded in the books or not????

When we distribute Divends we have to Debit Divends A/c As a Expenses but while issuing Bonus Share it is not Effected Financial Balances but when we show them into B/S, It will be added in No. of Shares already in B/s.
