30 September 2015 Sir,

I would like to withdraw some of my FD s from HDFC for daughters marriage purpose. So it will come around Rs 6 lakhs. If it transfer to my sb account is there any problem with tax. Kindly advise. Upto what time I could keep it in my account.

30 September 2015 No any problem with income tax. You can very well do so. You can keep it in the till you need it

There wont be any tax related issues, unless such income has been shown in the previous year income tax returns.
